Facts & Benefits

What is hypnosis?

Hypnosis is a method by which clients can reach their subconscious and work on issues that have been hidden inside. Clients reach this level of awareness through exercises similar to deep relaxation guided by the hypnotist.

Is Hypnosis Dangerous?

No. You are always in control. You will never be stuck in a hypnotic state. You will always be able to return to full alertness on your own.

Does Hypnosis Replace Regular Psychotherapy?

No. If a client is being seen by a therapist, I highly recommend that they continue. Hypnosis can be an added benefit to psychotherapy but not a replacement. In some cases, therapists will recommend hypnotherapy to their clients in order to break past deep seated subconscious walls in order to advance their individual therapy.

Are There Benefits To Hypnosis?

Yes many. Clients who have experienced hypnosis have found improvement in their ability to manage or resolve issues with stress, anxiety, panic attacks, pain, fears, phobias and emotional childhood and adult issues. Hypnosis is also beneficial for improved self-esteem, ego strengthening, weight loss, smoking cessation and much more.

Is A Hypnosis Treatment Guaranteed To Work?

No. All hypnosis sessions work because its a partnership. The client works with the hypnotist to acheive their goals. If a smoker is not ready to quit, it will be more difficult for them to quit they have a higher chance of not successfully quitting  and I will not take them as a client. The client must be ready to make changes in their life.

How Long Will A Session Last?

A session will last between one and two hours. The first session is usually the longest as we spend time getting to know each other and talking about your goals.

Past Life Regression

Past life regression is a technique that uses hypnosis to recover what is believed to be memories of past lives.  Past life regression is part of my services, because while helping some of my clients get to the root cause of their depression, phobias and other situations effecting their lives, they went into a past-life to solve the problem. Past-life regression can be seen by some as a momentary fad or a fun thing to experience, but I’ve seen the benefits to where past-life regression has changed my client’s lives. I believe that there is more to us as people and that what is hidden within us will someday come out and past lives will someday become a part of a typical therapy session as we accept our complete selves.

Upon further research on past life regression, I wrote a book, Journey Back, detailing the regressions I directed of 27 volunteers who went into regressions to discover their past. Journey Back is available on Amazon . Watch videos on YouTube of some of the Journey Back sessions and me explaining past-life regressions.  Also go to cliffaguirre.com for more information about past life regression and Journey Back.
